OLIVIA MARTIN

Olivia is a Health Coach and Functional Nutritionist with a deep passion for helping others feel empowered, informed, and inspired on their path to well-being. Born in England and raised in south central Kentucky, she called many places home — from Austin to Boston to Atlanta — before settling in the beautiful Upper Valley of Vermont. Like many in the field, Olivia came to functional medicine through her own health journey. In her teens and early adulthood, she developed habits that didn’t support her well-being. Through curiosity and commitment, she began to unravel those patterns and discovered the power of functional health along the way. Olivia believes that healing begins when we slow down, listen to our bodies, and create sustainable practices that support how we want to feel — not just in the moment, but over the long term. Her approach blends functional nutrition, lifestyle shifts, and mindset work to help clients move from simply coping to truly thriving. She brings compassion, curiosity, and steady encouragement to every client interaction. At GrassRoots Functional Medicine, Olivia helps clients put their wellness plans into action. She translates lab results and clinical recommendations into realistic routines — whether it’s improving meals, supporting sleep, or regulating the nervous system. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Arts and Sciences, with a focus on epigenetics, movement, nutrition, and mindfulness, and is completing her certification through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. Olivia lives in Woodstock, VT with her husband and two young children. She enjoys running, yoga, trail walks, and nourishing meals shared with family.
