JENNA PARSONS FNP

Jenna Parsons, FNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner at GrassRoots Functional Medicine with a deep personal and professional commitment to helping women uncover the root causes of their symptoms. She was born and raised in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, where she developed a strong appreciation for nature, resilience, and community.

Jenna’s journey into functional medicine began personally—after experiencing her own health challenges and feeling dismissed by conventional care. Discovering functional medicine not only transformed her health, but gave her a clear mission: to help other women feel heard, understood, and supported in finding real answers.

With over a decade of experience in healthcare across hospital, school, and home health settings, and formal training through the Institute for Functional Medicine, Jenna brings both clinical depth and genuine compassion to every patient interaction. She has a special passion for women’s health, hormones, thyroid conditions, fatigue, and metabolic dysfunction, always taking a whole-person, root-cause approach.

Outside of the clinic, Jenna loves spending time outdoors with her husband and their two children. You’ll often find her hunting, fishing, hiking, or enjoying Vermont’s natural beauty with her family—activities that ground her and reinforce the lifestyle principles she encourages her patients to embrace.
