Kathy Washburn is a life coach who works with individuals navigating change. She is a cancer survivor and a warm connector. Kathy uses her unique mix of life experiences, education, positive psychology, post-traumatic growth, narrative healing, and neuroscience to invite clients to reconnect to their bodies, minds, and emotions. She describes herself as a conduit giving research legs as she incorporates into her coaching the latest evidence-based research to help guide clients towards living authentic, joy-filled lives.

At age 36 Kathy experienced advanced-stage cancer. Her current passion is to help fill the gap in patient needs during the transition from treatment to life after cancer and has founded Carved By Cancer – a support network for cancer survivors as they continue their healing journey into the emotional and physiological.

Kathy was formerly the Senior Vice President of Business Integration and Corporate Sustainability for Breckinridge Capital Advisors where she spent 20 of her 25 years in the investment industry. She graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Finance, has a Project Management Graduate Certificate from Boston University, as well as a Positive Psychology and Positive Psychology Coaching Certification from Wholebeing Institute where she is on the faculty. Kathy is a certified Narrative Coach and a graduate of the Integrative Development program from The Moment Institute as well as the Positive Neuroplasticity Professional Training with Dr. Rick Hanson.
