Kara Maville is a certified Health and Wellness Coach, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Certified Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about helping others build healthier, more fulfilling lives through sustainable lifestyle changes. A lifelong New Hampshire native, Kara grew up surrounded by the outdoors, where she developed a deep appreciation for an active lifestyle and the connection between movement, nature, and overall well-being.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University and her master’s degree from Rhode Island College, combining academic knowledge with years of real-world coaching experience.
For more than 11 years, Kara worked at Dartmouth Health, where she helped develop and support employee wellness initiatives while coaching individuals to improve their nutrition, increase physical activity, manage stress, and create lasting healthy habits. She believes that wellness isn’t about perfection—it’s about making consistent choices that support long-term health and happiness.
Outside of her professional work, Kara lives the lifestyle she teaches. As the proud mom of two active boys, she understands the challenges of balancing family, work, and self-care. She is committed to practicing a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise, nutritious eating, and spending time outdoors. Whether she’s hiking, skiing, camping, biking, or exploring New England with her family, Kara believes movement, nutrition and overall wellness are essential parts of living well.
Kara’s mission is to empower others with the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to make lasting changes—helping them feel stronger, healthier, and more energized at every stage of life.
